At PAD, we create landscapes that genuinely matter. We are making some of the UK’s most ambitious, innovative and regeneratively driven landscape projects – from landmark roof gardens to beautifully crafted public realm and private gardens.

Due to exciting new projects and growth in our business we currently have two openings. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Landscape Architect and a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our fun and friendly design studio in Brighton, located just by the sea and in the heart of the city. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, this position is ideal for a self-motivated individual seeking to start their career in a dynamic and supportive team.

Our special projects deal with big issues that we’d like your help on – to make a real difference. This is an opportunity to work on exciting, design-led projects from concept through to delivery, alongside a friendly and highly creative team that genuinely invests in your development.

Landscape Architects requirements
• 3-5 years of professional experience.
• A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience in landscape architecture with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Knowledge of working on RIBA 1-6 work stages and strong graphic and technical design skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for sustainable and ethical design practices.
• Contribute to meetings, workshops and presentations developing creative and practical ideas to help solve complex design challenges.
• Fully adept with Sketchup, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality work. Revit experience would be an advantage.
• Collaborate on projects effectively while maintaining open communication with the project runner who will support you.
• Manage and organise your individual workload with ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Assist with nurturing strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and collaborators.

Graduate Landscape Architects requirements
• 0-2 years of professional experience.
• A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is essential.
• Ability to express your personal sense of design and philosophy and learn the process of concept to completion with our experienced team.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to produce drawings, visualisations, and technical documents, including concise reports across all stages of planning, and design projects.
• Fully adept with Sketchup, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality work. Revit experience would be an advantage.
• Develop your knowledge and support a culture of continuous growth and development.
• Prepare and develop designs and technical materials from initial feasibility through to production of construction information.
• Produce high quality reports, drawings, and other technical documentation with the necessary level of detail for the various stages of development, using appropriate software.

Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Rhino, Revit and/or Civil 3D is highly desirable.
• Skilled in preparing clear graphics and technical reports.
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.
