Landscape Architect – Full-Time, Permanent
Salary – £28,221 to £30,756 (rising to £29,636 to £31,371 from 1 April 2019)

About the role
As an experienced Landscape Professional you will predominately review and provide expert landscape advice on planning applications, while also supporting the development of spatial planning documents and helping to inform the design of major development projects. The role is mostly office based, however some site visits will be required to assess application sites and carry out monitoring of development sites. The role requires working with a wide range of stakeholders including planners, other specialists, developers, agents, consultants, statutory bodies, elected members and the public.
You will be solution focussed, comfortable with working independently, and able to communicate clearly and negotiate confidently. You will have experience of carrying out or assessing; LVIA’s, working with landscape character assessments and have a good understanding of the planning system and how landscape contributes to the delivery of high quality design and supports the creation of valued places to live, work and relax. Experience working in local government or public body would be advantageous, however this is an excellent opportunity for an individual from private sector to gain experience in the public sector.
