Wellspring Academy Trust is a growing Multi-Academy Trust, currently supporting 29 Academies. We are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve. We are an education charity with Academies in the Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Education sectors.
We require an experienced and passionate Landscape Architect with design flair and experience in developing ambitious educational landscapes to join our talented and hardworking team. The post holder will support the Head of Capital to master plan external spaces across our estate. Wellspring Academy Trust believes that vibrant external learning spaces are essential to pupil development.
Wellspring places great emphasis on the quality of its physical environments including its external spaces, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and regeneration. We aim to achieve this by developing multiyear external master plans, which the Landscape Architect will creatively develop and help our academies implement.
In recent years, the Trust has seen exponential growth through Academy conversions and the development of new Academies. The most notable new developments being three state of the art Special Schools in Leeds, a 420 place modular mainstream Primary School in Leeds and four traditional build Alternative Academies in Lincolnshire. These represent a total investment of over £80million.
Wellspring is at an exciting point in its development with several pipeline academies and four further new builds in development. The continuing growth of the Trust offers exciting pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference. This role is ideally suited to a chartered Landscape Architect who has a passion for external school environments.
