We are looking for a Senior Landscape Officer with experience of landscape issues within development management and strategic planning, who can deliver professional and technical landscape design advice to internal and external customers. You will have a good understanding of Landscape Character Assessment, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, protected tree and hedgerow legislation, and nationally protected landscapes. The role also requires a good understanding of public open spaces and play spaces. You will be qualified with a degree in Landscape Architecture, or equivalent (or equivalent level of experience), and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute. With experience of working in landscape design, ideally within a local authority, you will form part of a group of Specialist officers supporting delivery of the Councils’ corporate priorities.
