GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS
Ryder Landscape Consultants, Chester
The Roles – To work within busy design and assessment teams, to provide fresh ideas, bring new skills and personally grow to become a key member of our Practice. The posts will involve a varied range of design, assessment and planning projects across a broad variety of sectors.
About You – You are a new or recently qualified Graduate Landscape Architect with ideally some design office experience behind you, you want to work in an active practice and test yourself with a variety of work to carry on growing your personal experience. You want to use and develop your computer skills and be challenged by projects but be given support when necessary. You have an interest in all aspects of our profession and ultimately want to enjoy the career you have chosen to follow. You are good at working as an individual but also with other landscape architects and want to collaborate in multi-disciplinary design groups.
About Us – We formed in 2007 and have been busy ever since. We currently employ five people and work throughout the UK. We have a wide project portfolio with schools, heritage restoration, urban design and landscape assessments all in the office right now. We work with a range of other designers, blue chip clients including large contractors and place our Graduates in the thick of it meeting clients, preparing proposals and seeing their designs through to delivery on site. Ideal Skills – Demonstrable verbal, written and draughting skills including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office. If you have GIS or BIM experience tell us about it but training will be offered in both for the successful candidates.
Base – We are based in the beautiful city of Chester with great transport links to the North West and North Wales. However we work across the country and ideally a driving licence would assist. We believe we are a friendly and supportive place to work.
