Park Hood is a well-established Landscape Architectural Practice with offices in Belfast, London and Dublin. Due to an expanding workload within all offices, locally and internationally we are now seeking a number of new personnel to assist with delivering this expanding portfolio of work.
All positions will be based within our primary offices in Belfast although the successful candidate(s) may be expected to travel within Ireland, the UK and occasionally to Europe. We are seeking enthusiastic, focused and talented candidates at Post Graduate and Senior Project Landscape Architectural level and outline these roles as follows:
POST GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (Pathway to Chartership)
An enthusiastic individual with some experience of Landscape Design across a variety of projects.
Ability to demonstrate good presentational graphics with a preference for high communicative 3D skills
An ability to work and communicate well within an open plan office environment working closely within a Director led core team
SENIOR PROJECT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (CMLI)
Experience of strong client contact and communication with the ability to meet our client base, receive instruction and develop projects from inception to completion with assistance at Directorial level and with technical support
An ability to work effectively within a team environment but also act independently as and when required.
A strong production information/technical ability with some experience of having delivered projects on site
Experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver large projects within both the private and public sectors.
SENIOR PROJECT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (CMLI with specific focus upon Landscape and Visual reporting)
Site surveys, assessments, mitigation &, constraints plans, GIS mapping (if possible), graphics, visualisations, LVIA and other landscape reports and Pre-Application Discussions.
Additional duties will include master planning, design statements, feasibility studies, planning applications, landscape design, landscape plans and planting plans.
A good sound understanding and experience of the UK / NI and ROI Planning Processes and the Landscape and Visual requirements and needs to address specific large scale development applications.
Experience with GIS and 3D modelling will be considered favourably.
Professional training in landscape assessment / LVIA / landscape planning will also be considered for this position
All candidates will be expected to have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Software Products and Sketch Up. In additional to software resource skills you will be expected to have the following:
A clean driving licence
Be eligible to work in the UK & Ireland;
Be a Member of the Landscape Institute;
Have good communication and presentation skills;
