The residents of Norwich are proud to call their home the “fine city”. Norwich has a wealth of hard and soft open spaces that have for many years been shaped by the council’s landscape team.
We are looking for a landscape architect who is eligible for chartered membership of the Landscape Institute and has experience of designing, managing and specifying landscape projects and supervising contractors. You will work on projects to improve parks, streets and squares and provide advice to planning colleagues on the landscape implications of development proposals in Norwich and the Broads National Park.
You will be joining a team that works for clients within the city council, neighbouring councils and the Broads Authority, so the ability to deliver high quality customer care is essential. You will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling resources so you should have experience and skills in project management, including budget control.
The principal landscape architect, who is a Landscape Institute mentor, will provide professional support to you on projects and help you develop your career.
If you wish to discuss this post further, please telephone Lara Hall, Principal Landscape Architect on 01603 212189 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
