About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Landscape Architect to expand our award-winning team of over 20 Landscape Designers, based in our London office.

We have an expanding portfolio of challenging and high profile projects including residential masterplanning, university campuses, parks projects and urban design work. You will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of sought-after projects with prestigious clients, working with Directors with strong reputations in the industry and gaining exposure to different specialist fields.
Our design projects are primarily UK-focussed and LUC respects the need of staff to balance their home and working lives. We are happy to discuss a range of flexible working options for this role including some remote working and /or part time hours (minimum 30 hours per week) if desired.
The role includes the opportunity to share and participate actively in the management and ownership of the business through the Employee Ownership Trust, which places full ownership of the company with the employees.
Salary range: £30,000 – £40,000 FTE dependent on experience.
The position requires good all-round skills in design, graphics, presentation, verbal and written communication, and a combination of design flair and technical competence. It is important that you have the ability to work collaboratively, articulate ideas and communicate effectively.
A degree and / or a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline is required. We are looking for someone chartered, or well advanced on the Pathway to Chartership and preparing for exams. We will provide practical and financial support for the Pathway to Chartership, including membership and examination fees.
You will be comfortable and competent dealing directly with clients and have the confidence and experience to manage projects independently, but know when to seek director support if this is necessary.
Applicants should demonstrate with examples their experience in working from inception to completion, preferably on development-led and residential projects.
Proficient use of AutoCAD and computer graphics and/or excellent hand-drawing is required as a minimum. Experience of using Revit would be desirable but not essential.
