The residents of Norwich are proud to call their home the “fine city”. Norwich has a wealth of hard and soft open spaces that have for many years been shaped by the council’s landscape team.

We are looking for a landscape architect with a degree in Landscape Architecture. You will be fully involved in the delivery of an exciting range of ambitious public realm projects and providing advice to planning colleagues on the landscape implications of development proposals in Norwich and the Broads National Park. You will have strong design and detailing skills and a proven record of delivering landscape led schemes in an urban environment.

You should ideally have experience of the following: Adobe Creative Suite, Keyscape/AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArcGIS and Microsoft Office.

You will be joining an experienced team working for clients within the City Council, supporting neighbouring local authorities and the County Council. The Principal Landscape Architect, will, if applicable, support you on your pathway to Chartership.

Norwich City support flexible working and you will be provided with IT to allow for home/flexible working where appropriate.

If you wish to discuss this post further, please telephone Lara Hall, Principal Landscape Architect on 07776 668525 or e-mail larahall@norwich.gov.uk.

At interview we will ask candidates to present two schemes that they have worked on.
