Salary: Grade 9 SCP 34-39 £42,403 – £47,420

Hours/Week: 37 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the landscape and recreation team of the Council’s Environment Service, ensuring County Plan objectives are translated into effective delivery on the ground, working closely with and supporting local communities on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and management of a small team of officers covering landscape, access, recreation and litter and fly-tipping policies, whilst coordinating the delivery of a wide range of greenspace improvement projects. They will also need to prepare strategic landscape and green infrastructure policies and strategies for the Council, and provide advice to others within the authority, particularly in relation to planning applications.
