Overview

What we are looking for:

We seek a suitably qualified Associate Landscape Architect to join the team.  The company is 100% home working (save for the obvious requirements to attend meetings and site visits etc).  You will be part of a close-knit team and have daily contact with other team members via phone, email and MS Teams.  We work nationally, although would prefer for the candidate to be based in London or the South-east where the majority of our projects are located.

Essential Requirements:

·       Chartered Landscape Architect with a minimum 5+ years post qualification

·       Good level of consultancy experience with an excellent understanding of planning policy and the planning process

·       Confidence in undertaking site surveys and LVIA / TVIA assessments

·       Good design experience of projects at a variety of scales during all project work stages.

·       Excellent design skills, with experience of inputting into feasibility studies, landscape masterplans/ strategies and well as delivering detailed design work packages

·       Good plant knowledge and competency in producing planting designs/ plans

·       Good report writing skills and ability to provide quality assurance for the team

·       Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client facing role, with the ability to nurture client relationships

·       Self-motivated with an organised approach to managing workload

·       The ability to work well collaboratively in a team and independently

·       Good project management skills

·       Experience of preparing landscape strategies landscape masterplans and LI work stages up to planning

·       Good level of competence using Adobe Suite (Illustrator/InDesign), CAD (Vectorworks / Autocad) and NBS Specification software

·       Good commercial awareness and ability to prepare winning fee proposals

·       Driving licence.

Desirable:

·       Experience of preparing appeal statements

·       Experience in a multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy

·       Experience in business development and contribution to marketing initiatives.

·       Experience of authoring EIA Chapters.
